Swim Spray | 8 Oz
This spray neutralizes chlorine and protects skin and hair from chlorinated pool or water exposure. Sodium ascorbate (a form of vitamin C) is the super star in this spray, as it helps to change chlorine to an unharmful compound that can be easily rinsed from the skin and hair. This helps to prevent and relieve possible effects of chlorine exposure such as itching, burning, and dryness. ⠀⠀
Chlorine naturally reacts with organic compounds that are already present in water, creating harmful and toxic disinfection byproducts (DBPs) such as trihalomethanes (THMs). THMs can be even more concentrated when absorbed through the skin, possibly contributing to health risks that can affect the heart, nervous system, and can be linked to cancer.

I’m just not convinced this does anything. If you’re struggling with chlorine sensitivity, there are creams and lotions that would be a better bet than a spray with zero absorption.

Hi, yes it’s still a little too early to tell whether or not the vitamin C spray is helping my skin stop itching, I’m using it before I enter the water and after I shower getting out of the pool, I understand it used to be in a dark bottle and white glass is so much better than plastic, but I have to put it in a Dark plastic bottle at the gym because I’m not allowed to have any glass anywhere near the shower room wished you had a dark plastic bottle to take to the gym for the after getting out of the pool and showering while there thank you

Looking forward to using this for the rest of this year, but so far we have enjoyed using it the 2 times we did get to. No residue and no irritation.

I use this on my four year old and six month old before and after swim class. My 6 month olds back gets really dry depending on the weather and this keeps his skin from getting more irritated. So grateful for the clean ingredients!
