I wanted to love this so bad! It is such a nice texture and so moisturizing. However, when I first got it I was still very early in my first trimester. I originally thought it didn’t smell that great, but I could definitely still use it. However, once that morning sickness hit, it became abhorrent. I had to completely stop using it. Now, I’m well past my morning sickness and into my second trimester, with my belly growing by the day. In need of some moisture for said belly, I decided to take a brave whiff of this product to see if I could stomach it…. And ran to the toilet for the first time in weeks!

I would love if Rowe Casa came out with an unscented version, or even one with just a lighter, less heavy smell. I’ve been using their lavender and Roman chamomile body butter instead of belly butter, and that is a much lighter smell!

Overall, it’s a good product if you are someone who doesn’t mind heavy smells during your pregnancy!
