Loose powder in a shaker jar like your spices. Definitely apply while not wearing whatever you are going out in. Powder can fall all over when shaking. I love love love this! I have very thick, coarse hair and it is brightly colored! It is full on fixed once a week and I'm that person that plays with her hair. Yes I know harsh color chemicals but it's a mental thing for me. I tried to get a good pic!
